We at Kiddie Corner believe the goal of education is to support and advance child development by providing a healthy, safe, stimulating learning environment, filled with love and encouragement.

Our purpose is to provide activities which educate and stimulate children each day. Children should be able to walk into their preschool environment and know they are loved and know they are safe.

We believe the purpose of early childhood education is to educate children intellectually, and emotionally. Our teachers model positive behaviors and teach our children positive social behaviors. We know the influence we have on today’s children will help create successful, productive adults in the future.

We promote learning in all six domains set forth by the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We provide a classroom environment that develops children aesthetically, cognitively, emotionally, linguistically, physically, and socially.

All children have certain learning and development needs. When children enjoy the methods they are learning, they are more likely to retain the information in a song or learn something from a picture.
Each child’s learning style is unique and diverse. Our classrooms are filled with different activities for each child. With varied activities throughout the day, our children’s minds are stimulated.

Effective teaching is tailored to the needs of each child. Our classrooms are smaller, so we can take the time to relate to each child. Whether, we are giving a child a hug or a pat on the back, or just take the time to talk and acknowledge each child in our classrooms every day.

Children have good days and bad days. Our goal is to be aware of the children’s behavior changes in our classrooms; creating classrooms which hold them accountable for their behaviors, teaching them to respect and value themselves and each other.
