We are pleased to be able to utilize the “Mother Goose Time” preschool curriculum and “ABC Mouse” Pre-K Computer Learning Curriculum for our children. We also are teaching American Sign Language from the “Signing Time” Series and using the “Potty Time” Potty Training System in our Rancho San Deigo based Daycare and Preschool. We are a small Family Home Daycare and are able to give individualized attention and care to your children by working directly with parents as a team. Communication is everything and we are excited to send text pics daily to the parents of their children participating in cooking, art, and science projects, outside play and organic gardening. Come see why we are the best daycare and preschool located in Rancho San Diego in San Diego County, CA.

We have a mixture of Play Based and Academic Learning as well as a great reward system.

Academically we have a Preschool Program called “Mother Goose Time” which teaches numbers, letters, colors, shapes, concepts, and provides art projects and activities. We have circle time with weather forecasting, dressing the Panda, Calendar Time with counting and discussing days, weeks, seasons, time telling, animals, places, manners and feelings. We also practice with our alphabet, have singing, American Sign Language Practice and learning, stretching, and story time with discussion and interaction.

For our Play Based Learning we have free time where the children can choose activities in the room from different stations to enjoy themselves while learning. We have a sensory table area where a sensory tub may be chosen to learn about texture, color, smell, pouring, molding, building and more. There are two computer stations where a pre-k program has thousands of interactive, bright and stimulating activities that teach topics like Science, Math, Language, Art, Music etc. There are shelves with various items to choose from like “What Goes Together” and “What Comes Next” cards an electric Simon Says for sound and memorization, Card Games for children to learn how to work and play together, different threading activities, Magnet Play, puzzles, kaleidoscopes etc. There is a microscope for looking at slides to learn about our world we cannot fully see, and a scale where children can add water from large droppers into containers to learn about subtraction, addition, balance and so forth. We have a play dough station that offers homemade yummy smelling Kool-Aid play dough with a tool box full of molds, rollers, presses and more.

My classroom management consists of getting the children to interact as much as they want to. I like to get all the senses involved and working together to make things fun and exciting for everyone. We focus on working together as a team, mutual respect, kindness and practicing manners. Praise is used as positive reinforcement to encourage children to be at their best at all times and to be excellent when they can. We use a Warm Fuzzy reward system for moments of greatness which can be traded in at the end of the week for coupons which give special allowances. There are also Badges of honor that children are awarded for outstanding moments to wear proudly and show to parents.

We also have Classroom Jobs that are assigned to the children to give them a sense of independence and self-esteem. Some of these jobs include leading other children, which gives them a sense of responsibility and maturity. Most of all I choose to use love, compassion and understanding to ensure the children feel safe, and honored.

Truly a unique Gem! We believe we are the perfect middle ground between other Family Home Daycare’s & Daycare Facilities. We have the Cleanliness, Organization & Planning of a Facility, without the chaos, frequent colds/flus, & turn over rates that the Facilities have. We have more flexibility in our schedule to be creative & have fun. While all daycares are designed to care for your children during the day, we feel that Panda Dreams Daycare has many unique aspects to it.

We offer transportation to Rancho San Diego Elementary School, Meridian Elementary School, Christian Elementary School, Jamacha Elementary School, Vista Grande Elementary School and more.
