Heritage is proud to use program materials and curriculum that were developed by experts in the field of early childhood and elementary education, and have been used nationally in schools that consistently exceed average standardized scores for public and non-public schools.
Heritage Christian Academy Preschool implements a Christian based curriculum with a foundation from Abeka, CSI (Christian Schools International), and ACSI (Purposeful Design). Biblical principles and truths are incorporated throughout daily lessons, learning activities, music, and Bible stories. In addition, Saxon Math and Spalding Phonics are implemented at the teachers discretion in order to complete our formal academic instruction. Additional materials include visual as well as audio-visual teaching aids. All curriculums include outside learning opportunities, as well as exercises to develop interpersonal skills and allow for creative self-expression.
This unique curriculum, in conjunction with our devoted teachers, is a sure formula for success. Our children have shown considerable growth in their learning and development and leave here with the educational aptitude that is required for a successful transition into kindergarten. Each child is provided with a firm foundation in Gods Word, and every child is enabled to attain the necessary skills to become creative thinkers and life-long learners.
