Child Care at the Y is an extension of the home for many children. Our programs reach children each week from age 15 months to 13 years. We seek to relieve family stress and to provide the necessary resources that will strengthen the family unit that we believe is the foundation for a healthy community, society and world.

The YMCA advocates for all parents in their efforts to be responsible caregivers who are concerned with developmentally appropriate activities, practices, and programs for their children. Haverhill YMCA Child Care programs provide a safe, wholesome environment in which children can learn to communicate, cooperate, and care about each other. So no matter the time, or the place, Haverhill Y Child Care is actively instilling the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in the future leaders of our community.
