Har Shalom Pre School/Kindergarten operates as a welcoming arm of the larger Congregation Har Shalom community; we work to be a contributing factor for a Center for Jewish Living. We invite families and their young children to engage in Jewish life through independent and communal experiences and exploration. Our Montessori inspired program values the whole child and celebrates their unique academic, spiritual, social and emotional needs. We empower children with a sense of ownership for their Synagogue Community, encouraging participation in events of the larger community (beginning in the preschool classroom and graduating to religious school,) and joyfully supporting their growing Jewish sense of self.
