Good Shepherd Preschool & Extended School Program

Our focus is to instill in the children a love of learning, a sense of independent learning, and a general feeling of comfort and continued curiosity for knowledge in their future academic challenges. We emphasize spiritual growth and physical development of our students in an innovative, safe and nurturing environment.

Our Pre-School provides pre-school age children with a Christ-centered environment in which they can develop their full human potential. Children are encouraged to develop at their own rate, according to their own capabilities in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our pre-school is a happy place where the teachers love and respect each other and are committed to providing a loving, nurturing environment in which children can develop enthusiasm for learning and be prepared for their future roles in society.

We continue to be proud of our pre-schoolers and have followed progress through elementary, high school, and College years feeling confident that we have accomplished our goals of building a strong and confident educational foundation. We are proud to report that two University of the South Sewanee scholarships were awarded to alumni of the Good Shepherd Pre-School.
