Frank Porter Graham School Age Care Program

Our program is dedicated to providing quality school-age care and uses the National AfterSchool Association Standards for Quality School-Age Care as a guideline.
Our After-School program is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and holds a star-rated license.
Our After-School program is accredited by the National AfterSchool Association.
The Site Director is generally experienced in child care, elementary education, recreational programming and program administration.
Group Leaders are at least 19 years old and have experience working with groups of children in recreational or educational settings.
All staff members receive training in the areas of BSAC (Basic School-Age Care), child development, behavior management, program planning and curriculum, recognition of abuse or neglect, CPR, Standard First Aid, and playground safety.
