Upon entering the doors of Fowler Drive, visitors, parents, and community members feel the sense of mission that permeates every corner of our school. The faculty and staff are committed to providing students an academic program based on high standards and high expectations. All teachers, including SPECenterUM, ESOL, art, music, physical education, and special education work toward implementing the highest degree of responsibility and achievement among students.

Within this context of high expectations, one also senses the deep caring we have for our students. Teachers know that challenging students also includes providing caring support in an atmosphere that encourages risk-taking. We want our students to have the confidence and independence to explore a world outside their own.
