First Baptist Child Development Center

The First Baptist Child Development Center was formed as an outreach of the church to the community. It has been in operation since 1970. It has grown from a handful of children to the thriving center that it is today.
The First Baptist Child Development Center offers care for children 6 weeks through school age. Our 2,3 and 4/5 year old preschool classrooms are arranged with interest centers and are designed to foster all aspects of a child’s development. These classrooms work to help children build school readiness skills and to prepare them for the kindergarten transition. Our Infant toddler program provides children with a variety of experiences that will nurture and develop them emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. All of our classrooms use a curriculum that is Christian based to help teach the children about God’s love.
We enjoy a well equipped, fenced in playground with a special area for children under 2 years of age. We are licensed by the state and are regularly inspected by the local health and fire departments.
