We believe that children learn through play. Classrooms are arranged to provide many learning experiences for children as they interact with each oter and the staff. There are several interest areas within each classroom: manipulative block area, library, computers, dramatic play, water/sand, and the art area. Along with these areas, children enjoy large-muscle play on the playground.

We believe that children learn best when engaged in active learning, with hands-on involvement with materials, equipment, and activities.

We believe that children learn how to form positive relationships by interacting with other children and adults. Through these interactions, children learn how to get along with others.

We believe that children learn through trying; self-sufficiency will be encouraged(in relation to the developmental stage of the child). Each area is equipped with age-appropriate furniture and materials to encourage independence by the children.

With the above context, plans are made each week for special activities for the learning and enjoyment of children.

Children attending in the morning will enjoy preschool activities in a slightly more structured setting , while those in attendance in the afternoon will participate in the nap/rest time with a less structured later afternoon setting. Evening attendees will be able to enjoy the activities planned for the earlier part of the day, also in a less structured setting.
