Elwood Care

Serving all children in grades 3 4 and 5 the James H. Boyd Intermediate School gives students the opportunity to participate in a broad academic program that builds upon their foundation years in the primary grades while also preparing them for the demands of middle school.
Students have a daily mathematics period focusing on computation and problem-solving a reading program emphasizing literature and basal skills and a writing program based on grade-level objectives. Guidance and socialization skills are also taught through the language arts program. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
