Dutch Valley Early Childhood

The Early Childhood program is a child development program designed to serve “at risk” children. The program serves three and four year old children. Children who are considered “at risk” are those who meet the free and reduced lunch guidelines, or are at risk for developmental delays. Eligibility is determined according to the Free and Reduced Lunch Guidelines or according to their IEP. Those who do not meet the guidelines can be served after all eligible children have been served. Early Childhood has classrooms at Claxton and Dutch Valley Elementary.

The PreK program is a child development program which only serves four year old children. The program is designed to give priority to “at risk” children. Children who are considered “at risk” are those who meet the free and reduced lunch guidelines, or are at risk for developmental delays. Eligibility is determined according to the Free and Reduced Lunch Guidelines or according to their IEP.Those who do not meet the guidelines can be placed after all eligible children have been served.There are five PreK classrooms through out Anderson County.
