It has been a pleasure to grow with all the families that have attended DPDC. In many cases a child joins us as an infant and moves right through to preschool. It is a very special moment when a child graduates preschool and heads off to kindergarten, a moment that is met with excitement and a bit of sadness as they leave Duck Pond and go on to their next adventure. We are confident that these children will shine because of the experience and time they spent at Duck Pond Day Care.
We look forward to continuing our mission of providing safe, nurturing and educational childcare with the assistance of our staff and the families that attend Duck Pond Day Care.

Duck Pond Day Care offers a child-centered approach to curriculum that encourages children to explore. Our goal is to provide each child with the readiness skills necessary for a successful school experience. There is an emphasis on group living, with children learning to share and cooperate with each other. Individual attention is also provided and children are encouraged to grow at their own pace. Importance is given to promoting a positive self-esteem and strong sense of themselves as individuals and as members of a group. Parents are kept informed of daily happenings and periodic development updates through a written communication notebook. Children leaving our program are more than ready for their Kindergarten experience.
