The mission of the Early Childhood Preschool Program is to provide an educational foundation for young children and to develop relationships among families, staff and community for individual student achievement.

Our curriculum goes hand in hand with the Douglas County Standards for public education. Our essential learning areas are reading, writing, math, social emotional and group learning behaviors. Throughout the school year we do continual assessments of each child in the above areas, and report those results to parents at conferences twice a year.
Our social skills curriculum here at Acres Green is called Dinosaur School and it teaches understanding feelings, problem solving, and anger management skills. This curriculum is taught with child size puppets and has been extensively evaluated and shown to increase social skills in children.
