The philosophy of the Cyber Ed concept is simple yet very complex. Children need positive stimulation to expand their minds and open themselves up to be receptive and hungry for learning and knowledge. Cyber Ed is more of a philosophy about learning, a free spirit with limitless avenues for learning and exploring, rather than a concrete curriculum.

The centers, located in Moore County, North Carolina, are just the tip of the iceberg of possibilities dreamed for Cyber Ed. Time, money and access to resources are the only obstacles standing in Cyber Eds way of enriching the lives of every child in the world.

Cyber Ed is a role model for children who helps them realize that learning can be, and is supposed to be, fun. The school itself is not just a daycare center, but a magical world that helps kids grow and develop into creative, well-adjusted, and social little people with a new found love for learning.

No other daycare center sparks the imagination quite like Cyber Ed. Just walking in the door sweeps you off on a new adventure and to fun, new places. Music, art, computers and pretend play platforms all add to the experience.

It goes without saying that Cyber Ed strives for excellency in learning, but we want to take that concept further and strive for fun in learning. Children are expected to have their thinking caps on all day while in school. But during our programs, we want them to have their creative hats on as well. Through being creative, they gain excitement towards learning.

At Cyber Ed, children can go at their own pace. If theyve had a stressful school day, they can relax on a bean bag and watch a video or an educational program on TV to unwind. If they have lots of homework to do, they can retreat to our homework lab and quietly work without distractions but also with assistance from one of our teachers, if needed. Perhaps they just want to play. We have lots of toys that will spark their imagination. And lets not forget our fleet of computers. Each one is loaded with kid friendly software designed to help them learn computer skills all while having fun!

Our programs provide the essential social environments that that children need to develop healthy relationships with other children as well as adults. They learn respect for their peers and their peers feelings all while learning to respect adults other than their parents. For the pre-schoolers this helps them prepare for the social settings they will encounter when they start school. And for the after-school children, our program provides the essential skills needed for the next level of their education.

Even though we target a fun and games atmosphere, the children are also subjected to a structured routine in our programs. We provide “free time” during which the children can choose their activity but we also provide structured time where the children are expected to participate in group activities such as crafts and of course, the dreaded clean up time. Children need a sense of order and although they may act like they dont want to participate in clean up, they actually appreciate the order and consistency it provides them.
