We believe that when children feel that they are a part of the program, missed when they are absent, and that teachers and friends are excited to see them when they return, then they will naturally have good behavior. Positive Discipline is the guidance model practiced at Crocus Academy, and all staff are trained in this process that offers an alternative to strategies commonly practiced elsewhere. Through class meetings and compliment sessions, our preschool students gain experience in problem solving, making decisions, and voicing opinions in constructive ways. Children are encouraged to discuss problems that arise in the daily learning process, help make and enforce class rules, and hold class meetings daily.
