At Country Corners, we teach using the High Scope Curriculum. We believe that the ideal group setting is one in which the classroom environment meets the needs of the child. Through trial and error the child gains an understanding of his/her ability to learn.
There is a computer in each preschool and school-age classroom. As recommended by NAEYC, our teachers carefully select developmentally appropriate software that engages children in creative play, mastery learning, problem solving and conversation. Computer technology is used to enrich and extend the curriculum in the classroom. Our teachers model, instructs, and interacts with the children as they work on the computer in the classroom.
