The Bnai Yeshurun Nursery School provides a loving, warm Judaic atmosphere for 3 and 4 year olds.
We have a close relationship with Stern College Early Childhood Education Department, and are proud to be one of the few sites for the placement of their student interns. Our formal mentor is the world renowned Orthodox early childhood educator, Mrs. Rivka Behar, founder of the program at Stern College almost thirty years ago. Mrs. Behar visits the school, observes the classes, meets with the teachers, and is in regular contact with the director.
We have a very close relationship with the families of our students. The parents fully understand and support our unique approach to Jewish early childhood education. Family members are encouraged to visit the school frequently. There is no need to come for a special event or program. Parents, siblings, and grandparents can just drop in and play with us. There is always something to do!

We have been designing a unique curriculum which combines the cutting-edge, child-centered approach to secular early childhood education with Torah. We have received grants to assist us in developing this curriculum from Jewish Educational Services of Bergen County and the Board of Jewish Education of New York.
