The purpose of the Child Care Program is to increase the availability, affordability and quality of child care services. The Cheyenne Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma Child Development program offers families access to affordable, high-quality child care where children have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment.

Program Services:—

Childhood Development Centers:

The Cheyenne-Arapaho Child Development Program operates two tribally owned and operated Child Development Centers. They are located in Concho and Clinton Oklahoma. The Centers are licensed by the State of Oklahoma Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) and are 2Star facilities.

C&A Tribal Subsidy Program:

The Child Care Program administers a wide array of childcare services through the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribal subsidy program to low-income families with parents or single parent, who is working or attending training or education program. Parents may choose the type of child care that best suits their needs. The Subsidy program also provides technical assistance to providers to assist with maintaining quality of child care services.
