Christs Greenfield Preschools name indicates the prominence and important that spirituality holds in our program. While we have a distinctly Christian program, we welcome people from all faiths and denominations. The love of Jesus is infused in all that we do.
Each week includes regular Jesus times focusing on a specific Bible story. Dependent upon the story, it may run from one to three weeks. In addition, a child-friendly bi-monthly chapel service is held in the church sanctuary. Chapel serves as an excellent introduction to worship in a condensed, hands-on, kid-level event. Parents are always welcome to attend chapel also!
Scripture reminds us, Faith without action is dead. Even though our students are pint-sized, their faith and their actions are powerful! Our students put their faith into action at three levels: local, regional and international.
Christs Greenfield Preschool has made the commitment to sponsor a child through Child Fund International since 2004. Each year the students host programs, concerts and bake sales during preschool hours to earn monies to support a child from Sri Lanka. Our students effort supplies the funds to provide food, education, and medical assistance for a child much like themselves, but in a different world.
Our students participate in various regional programs, showing love for those familiar and those unknown to them personally. A snapshot of their efforts hundreds of lovingly constructed homemade valentines for Veterans, making Christmas greetings for soldiers, and collecting baby clothing for at-risk families.
Our students faith is put into action locally by collecting for canned food drives, participating in Project Linus for seriously ill children, designing get-well wishes for classmates and their families.
