Hello and welcome to our school page! My name is CaSandra Pittman and I am the director of this fantastic school in Jacksonville, NC. I have my Bachelor-s degree in Elementary Education and I am in the process of obtaining my BK licensure. I have 11 years of experience in the early childhood profession.

We are so much more than a daycare center. Our school strives to maintain a warm, family oriented, and loving atmosphere for the children, parents, teachers, and visitors that come into our building. We are proud to be a 5 star school and we continuously focus on providing a high quality learning environment for all the children in our care from infants through school-age. Combined, our staff brings almost 100 years of experience to the early childhood field! All of our classrooms use a state-approved curriculum that allows each child the opportunity to grow and develop across the developmental learning domains: gross motor, fine motor, social/emotional, language, and cognitive. Our school offers a focus of expertise in diversity where we introduce our children to other cultures and nationalities through hands on activities, discussions, special guests, field trips, and projects. If we cannot now end our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. ~John F. Kennedy Childcare Network 81 serves as a NC Pre K site in our community. This state funded program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-old children. We also have our Kindergarten Prep Academy (Kindergarten readiness program) that operates on a full day, full year schedule for children ages four and five. My favorite thing about being a director for Childcare Network is having the opportunity to impact the lives of so many children and their families. For me this is not just a job but it is my passion. I love to see the smile on a child-s face when they learn something new. Our curriculum, well-trained staff and quality care helps to lay the foundation for children and their success throughout their school years and beyond.
