Welcome to our fantastic preschool here in Columbus, Georgia. My name is Melissa Smith and I am the director here. I currently am working towards my Master-s in Education, but hold my Bachelor-s Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Child Development Associates for infants through school age.

Our school strives to create a warm, safe and loving environment for the children, parents and teachers. Our motto is giving is learning and we strive to live by that each day. Working with each family to exceed their expectations and build the foundation of their child-s education, is what makes us so much more than a daycare.

Each of our teachers has experience working with children from infants through school age. They carry out our school wide curriculum, including our Bright Babies Curriculum in the infant room. Our Pre-K Program uses the HighReach Learning Curriculum, which provides a unique balance of standards based on classroom support materials.

As an extension to our Young Achiever-s after school program, each year we kick off a new and exciting Adventure Summer Camp. This includes weekly themes and educational field trips. Summer campers enjoy local venues and take part in classroom experiences with their peers. We make sure that throughout the summer we are creating fantastic memories to last a lifetime.

How do we keep these little minds active, working hard and learning all year? We prepare breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack to keep the children energized throughout the day. The fun and excitement never ends here at Childcare Network!

I-m honored to be able to work alongside great teachers and have the opportunity to impact so many children and their families.
