Hello and welcome to our school! I am so excited that you stopped by to check us out. Allow me to tell you a little about Childcare Network in Opelika. My name is Michelle Abernathy and I am the Director here. I have been in the child care field for over 17 years.

The school motto is Love, Caring and Sharing. We want to love and care for your children as you would, because we are so thankful to you for sharing them with us! My staff and I want you to feel like this is a home away from home for your children. We want you to feel comfortable when you go to work because you know we are going to care for your children as if they were our own.

As part of the Childcare Network family, we encourage our our school families to become involved in our community projects, including the Coups for Troups program, the Muscular Dystrophy Association Lock Up and our annual canned food drive.

We offer a Kindergarten readiness program with our Kindergarten Prep Academy that works along with the local Kindergarten teachers to assure that we are preparing our Pre-K students with the knowledge that is required by the Opelika city school system. We take it one step further and begin our Kindergarten Prep Academy in our toddler classroom. We use a curriculum system that builds upon itself to ensure that your child has as much knowledge as possible to begin their educational foundation.

We are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in order to serve you! We offer nutritious meals and snacks that meet or exceed the USDA daily recommendations all as part of our program!

I am very honored to work with many great teachers! We have the best job in the world-we provide an educational foundation for the leaders of tomorrow through love caring and sharing!
