Welcome to our wonderful preschool here in Chatsworth GA. My name is Katrina Scharf and I-m the school’s director. I have been a part of the Childcare Network family for over 7 years, starting as a teacher in the toddler room before becoming a director. I have my Associates degree in applied science/health information technology and a CDA in Early Childhood Education.
The curriculum we use at our school is called HighReach Learning and it is a large part of each program. The new topics each monthly are designed to include group and individual activities that are developmentally appropriate for each age group. Our teachers work closely with parents through daily sheets and monthly take homes so that they can continue their child’s education at home. It is important to everyone here that our children feel safe, loved and nurtured in their environment at our school. We truly are like one big family and pride ourselves on the sense of community you can feel when entering our front door. In addition to our Infant and Pre-Kindergarten Programs we have our Adventure Summer Camp for school age children. It is awesome! The camp has a different theme every week so that the kids with plenty to explore and discover. We always plan exciting field trips and activities to go along with each theme. All of our teachers are first aid certified, CPR certified, and also accredited. We are very proud to announce that we have received 2 stars from the Georgia Quality Rated System! We are the first school in Murray County to go through the new ratings system! We would love for you to stop by or call to schedule a tour of our school. Both of my girls went to Childcare Network #147 and I would absolutely recommend it. My little girl, Juli, adored 'Miss Stephanie' (3yr old room). Stephanie was very sweet, cheerful and, most importantly, caring. The rest of the staff was also very nice and helpful. Overall, I felt my girls were in good hands.
I've been an employee for 2 years! And my child has attened since he was 8 weeks! I love the children and the teachers are very engaged with the children it's a all around wonderful place to being your child!!
My Kids love child care network my 4 year old love Stephanie his teacher he doesn't go there as much now but when he does he has to see stephanie.
They have a great program for the kids my son is making a lot of new friends and the teachers are wonderful and so nice. If you are going to have your kIds in daycare I recommend here
