King's Charter Children

THE SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM provides year-round childcare services to school age youth ages 6-13 at Kings Charter Children at the MLK Charter School of Excellence, Citizen Schools at Duggan, and the MLKFS Youth Center of the MLKFS which is located on the corner of Rutland and State Streets. The parent/guardian or social worker and program staff jointly determines enrollment and placement. The MA Department of Early Education and Care is the licensor for the School Age Child Care Program. All sites MLKFS Youth Center, Kings Charter Children at the MLK Charter School, and Citizen Schools at Duggan are all licensed sites. As such, we are required to adhere to EEC program, personnel, facilities standards and regulations.
