CASP provides a safe, supervised after school environment for school-age children who would otherwise be left unsupervised while their parents begin or complete their workday.
CASP provides after school care to more than 700 elementary children in 16 programs in the Norman Public School system.
CASP is a local, nonprofit agency. Your tax-deductible donation helps us provide affordable after school childcare to the families in our community as well as scholarships to those who qualify.
The Community After School Program, a local non-profit organization, provides quality care working in partnership with several community agencies including the United Way of Norman,Licensed by the Department of Human Services, each program offers a slate of self-directed options for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Art projects, board games, outdoor play, creative play and group time are all parts of the daily routine. The Community After School Program emphasizes opportunities for physical activities, self-expression though arts and crafts, and socialization with peers in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

We strive to create a positive social and recreational experience for the children in our program by providing opportunities for constructive interaction between the children and adults through structured and unstructured situations.
Children are encouraged to be involved in decision-making through self-selected activities. A variety of enrichment opportunities are offered including sports, games, arts and crafts, reading and homework, and socialization with peers in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
