The Community Association of Progressive Dominicans (ACDP) is a highly respected organization providing services to residents of Northern Manhattan and the Bronx. ACDP was founded in 1979 and incorporated in 1980 as the first non-profit to focus on the needs of New Yorks Dominican immigrants and the communities in which they live. ACDP has organized the community to develop high quality programs providing direct assistance to 27000 children and families annually. With a Team of volunteer of over 230 persons ACDP serves the community in the following critical areas:

  • Education and Youth Leadership
  • Public and Mental Health
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Immigration and Citizenship
  • Housing
  • Economic Development

ACDP’s programs are part of an integrated organizational whole. Together the programs nurture and challenge individuals and community institutions. They bring people together by celebrating diversity and opposing all forms of stereotyping and discrimination. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
