The educational philosophy of Mount Zion After School Program is based on the
belief that God is the source of all true knowledge and that the fear of God is the
beginning of wisdom. We believe children should be guided and nurtured by
trained staff in an inviting and safe environment which facilitates spiritual,
intellectual, emotional, physical and social development. Parents, staff, church
members and the wider community bear the responsibility of working together to
help young children develop the fundamental skills and talents to become
productive citizens in the community.
