Maxwell School Readiness

Our mission at Mattie Lou Maxwell Elementary is to empower students to become succesSFul lifelong learners who are of good character. To fulfill our mission we collaborate, use best practices, model good character and model learning. All students are expected to succeed and the adults of the school do all we can to support that success.

Each year our goal is to increase our student achievement by a minimum of 10%. We expect at least 10% more of our students each year will reach proficient or advanced on the annual California Standards Test. Our teachers work hard, collaborate with each other, and continue to learn best practices so they are providing the most meaningful and efficient instruction possible for our students.
