Child Devlopment Center Bedford County

The Bedford County Child Development Center (CDC) was founded in 1972. Each year the program serves approximately 98 children between the ages of birth and three Years old with developmental delays and disabilities.

The program’s objective is to identify children with development delays and disabilities at an early age and provide educational/early intervention services to meet the specific needs of the child and family. Family training and consultative family visits ensure good communication between caregivers and the instructors. All early intervention is provided in a natural setting for both the child and family.
