Carter Nursery School provides a warm, nurturing environment which will encourage students to gain self-esteem, independence and social growth. We provide a safe, consistent and positive setting to foster the development of the children. Through play and socialization we hope to provide the children with life skills that enable them to grow into caring and responsible individuals. Our Helping Parent program allows the whole family to become part of our school and our partner in the learning process of the child.

Carter Nursery School, Inc. has been in existence since 1961. The administration and policies of the Nursery School are under the supervision and approval of a Board of Directors, which meets monthly on a regular basis.

Carter Nursery School seeks to provide a stimulating environment in which each child can develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our objective at Carter is to have each child experience success and growth. Our nursery school will give each student the opportunity to develop a positive attitude toward both their school experience and their interaction with others.

In a warm, loving atmosphere we create a caring, safe and happy place where children have the opportunity to be children.
