Welcome to West Longmont, we believe each child is an individual and we plan our days supporting this belief. Research shows that children learn by moving, doing, and thinking. We agree, so our program includes music, movement, gym and computers as enrichments to reinforce what is being taught in the classrooms. Each child is involved in developmentally appropriate activities that challenge them to grow and still have fun at the same time. Our students develop a strong foundation for learning and will carry this foundation with them as they grow into young adults.

We encourage dialogue with you about your child through daily communication, documentation of learning, monthly newsletters, parent meetings, family fun events, parent conferences, and children’s assessments and portfolios.

Our preschool classrooms focus on childrens newly emerging skills and advanced use of language, math, and scientific thought. Multi-disciplinary learning centers encourage individual skills and emerging interests in academics, creative expression, and outdoor learning.

Our curriculum stimulates each childs innate curiosity and exploratory nature to prepare children for lifelong learning. Children move to elementary school socially prepared, excited to learn, and well versed in the language, math, and science skills theyll need to succeed. .

Our school-age programs include before- and after-school care, back-up care for school holidays and school closing days, and summer day camp. We provide school-age children with the opportunity to live, learn and socialize in a relaxed setting outside of school.

We offer a wealth of enrichment activities that engage the interests of school-age children. You may find school-age children creating a magazine or a video, playing chess or shooting hoops, tutoring each other or forming a club. Teachers are there alongside, facilitating, guiding and understanding that learning does not have to take on the tone and texture of a school day but rather be filled with fun.
