The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson & Passaic is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club of Paterson & Passaic

The Boys & Girls Club of Paterson & Passaic offers a safe, wholesome after school environment for kids age 5 through 18 to have fun and learn. During summer months, a day camp is offered.

Our professional staff and team of dedicated volunteers deliver a comprehensive array of high quality educational, social, and recreational programs. Annual membership costs only $8, allowing every child to join the Club.

Programs at the Club are designed to address at least one of five core areas:

Character & Leadership

Empowers youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self image, and respect their own and others cultural identities.

Education & Career Development

Enables kids to develop aspirations for the future, apply learning to everyday situations and explore opportunities for career and educational enhancement.

Health & Life Skills

Develops young peoples capacity to achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles, set personal goals and develop the competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults.

Visual & Performing Arts

Helps kids develop self-expression and creativity, acquire multicultural appreciation, and enhance skills in crafts, performing and literary arts.

Sports, Fitness & Recreation

Encourages youth to develop fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment, and social and interpersonal skills.
