Barnyard Kids

Barnyard Kids has been owned and operated by Mark Barnes and his wife, Dana Simpson Barnes since opening in June of 1996. Dana fell in love with the idea of having her own childcare program while visiting her Aunts program in Georgia when she was a teenager. Dana obtained an education degree from Cumberland University in 1993 and she and Mark married the same year. Dana taught kindergarten for 2 Years while working on the idea of her future preschool. In the summer of 1996 her dream became reality. The Barnes have touched many lives of children and their families since they have opened, but when asked Dana will tell you she is the one that has been blessed.
