Barnett Shoals Elementary Preschool

Barnett Shoals Elementary Preschool is devoted to recognizing students’ individual dignity and diversity in a rapidly changing global environment.

To the right of the school’s front door is the Butterfly Garden, to the left, stately magnolias. Inside, the atmosphere is friendly and special; people smile and say “hello” in the halls, the office, the cafeteria, library media center, computer lab, everywhere!

We are all learning here and every person (child or adult) is encouraged and expected to be the best that they can be. Students’ needs are continually assessed, making sure that the regular academic program is complemented and supported. Education is well-rounded, stressing personal growth, responsibility, cooperation, creative thinking, expression and, most of all, academic excellence.
