Hello, my name is Jacqueline! My experience working with children started over 10 years ago as a babysitter for various families in my local town. During my summers home from college, I worked as a camp and bus counselor. I was responsible for more than a dozen toddlers, directing the campers through daily activities which included swimming, athletics, and arts and crafts. As a bus counselor, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of roughly 15-18 campers ranging in ages from 1-14 y.o. I have continued to work with children in various capacities since graduating from Ithaca College with my bachelors degree. During the pandemic, I provided in-person support for elementary students regarding the transition to virtual learning. This support included homework help, appropriate break times, and meal prep.

For the last three years, I have been working as an early childhood educator at a Jewish Community Center. My students vary in age from 3 months to 2 years old. My number one priority is to ensure a nurturing and safe environment. Once that is established, my second priority is to inspire a childs wonder, exploration, and creativity. I am both First Aid and CPR certified!!

I am currently looking for weekday evening and weekend babysitting opportunities, as I will be attending law school in the fall. I hope to get the chance to work with you and your family!!
