Hello! My name is Maneka and i’m a college student aspiring to be a Pediatric Nurse! I have a strong background in childcare, both professionally and personally. I previously worked at a childcare center where I started at the front desk but quickly became involved in the classroom as well. Over time, I gained hands-on experience working with infants, one-year-olds, two- and three-year-olds, and even elementary school-aged children who came in for after-school care. This range gave me a solid understanding of child development at different stages, including key skills like potty training and age-appropriate engagement. On a personal level, I also helped raise my younger sister, who is 10 years younger than me.
From the day she was born, I was very involved in caring for her-feeding, bathing, teaching, and guiding her through every milestone. These experiences have given me a deep sense of responsibility, patience, and love for working with children of all ages. Babysitting feels like a natural fit for me.
