I love being a sitter because it allows me to connect with children in a meaningful way, helping them feel safe, cared for, and happy. Its rewarding to create a fun and nurturing environment where they can be themselves, learn, and grow. Plus, spending time with kids brings out my playful side and allows me to use my creativity, whether its through games, crafts, or teaching new skills. Being able to support both the children and their parents is something I find incredibly fulfilling. I have a lot of experience as a sitter, both personally and professionally. As a single parent of a 5-year-old, Im constantly involved in my sons care, understanding the importance of patience, creativity, and safety. Additionally, Ive worked with other children, where my background in healthcare has helped me remain calm under pressure and be attentive to their well-being. I love creating engaging activities, ensuring kids feel comfortable, and managing routines like mealtimes, playtime, and bedtime efficiently. My natural ability to connect with children and help them feel secure is something I take pride in. I bring a strong set of skills and training, particularly with my healthcare background of over 10 years. My training includes CPR and First Aid, which ensures I can handle any emergencies that may arise with children. Im also well-versed in managing health-related needs, administering medication if necessary, and maintaining a safe environment. In addition to healthcare, Ive developed excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, which are essential when caring for children. My ability to remain calm under pressure, stay organized, and engage children in age-appropriate activities adds to my experience as a sitter. Plus, being a parent myself has given me hands-on training in understanding kids emotional and developmental needs!
