I love being a sitter because I enjoy creating fun, imaginative, and play-oriented experiences that help kids learn and grow. My background includes working as an art teacher, in afterschool programs, and as a camp counselor, where Ive gained hands-on experience with children ages 18 months to 18 years. I’m also a registered behavioral therapist, which has deepened my understanding of childhood development, communication, and behavior. These roles have helped me develop strong skills in patience, dialogue, deescalation and crisis response, and child engagement. I hold certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED and have a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. As an educator, I believe in child-led learning opportunities to support kids in both structured and creative ways, enabling them to feel comfortable, engaged, and supported. I love incorporating outdoor time into daily routines and am a big believer in the power of parks and green spaces! Whether were doing crafts, reading at the library, playing games, or completing homework, I love being part of their world and contributing positively to their growth. In my personal life, I enjoy making art, going to museums, cooking, playing music, and staying active in fun ways like hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking.
