Hi! My name is Taja (pronounced tah-jha). I am a creative, passionate, supportive person and sitter. I graduated from college with a degree in psychology and in art, and am very happy to use my skills every day as a behavior therapist. I have 3.5 years of experience as a childcare provider, including both early childhood education and behavior therapy. I am very comfortable working with neurodivergent children and have extensive knowledge and experience supporting their needs, advocating for them across different settings, and using creative methods to connect and communicate with them. I am very patient and genuinely enjoy building bonds with children, and I absolutely love getting using art as a tool to do so!

My skills include errand running, doing laundry, helping with homework or school projects, teaching social-emotional or other skills, and caring for pets. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and very careful around allergies. I am most comfortable working with ages 2-6 but open to working with other age groups. I currently work mornings into the afternoons (and full days on Thursday) but am available for weeknight and weekend care opportunities!

When Im not putting my all into caring for children, I am taking art or fitness classes, hosting events or enjoying my time in nature! My friends would describe me as a social butterfly and I have endless energy for things that I love. I am excited to share my joy and creativity while stepping into this role!
