Hello! My name is Katie. I am 32-year-old female graduating from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy this spring (May 2021). My husband and I are relocating to Ocean City, NJ just in time for the summer, and I am hoping to find some part-time care gigs while studying for my boards and applying to full-time jobs. I do not have much paid child-care experience but I babysit my nephews (ages 1, 3, and 5) all the time since the first was born. I am CPR certified. Through my OT education, I have experience working in schools with children with special needs (Autism, Intellectual Disability, emotional regulation disorders, ADHD, mental health disorders.) I also have experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities. I am happy to assist individuals of all ages and abilities in all self-care activities, home management tasks and meal preparation. I would also be interested in pet-sitting or dog-walking opportunities; I love animals!
