Hi! My name is Andrea. I’m looking for a family that needs either a nanny a couple days a week, or a babysitter with a flexible schedule.

A bit about me: I’m in my thirties, I went to college for art and have taught photography classes to a variety of ages and demographics in the past fifteen years. I’ve also worked as a portrait and events photographer, and was employed at a music venue until the pandemic shut us down. I love music, play piano & guitar and write songs for a hobby. In the last few years, I’ve discovered a love for science, and I’m currently taking classes online through CCP to pursue a new career in this field. One of the top options I’m considering is becoming a grades 4-8 science teacher. I dare say I’ve grown into a responsible adult, but I still remember how to play and have fun.

My background checks were just renewed this year from my teaching job working with high school students at UArts. I’ve done a good amount of babysitting for various ages when I was in high school and college, but honestly it has been many years since I fulfilled a role like this for pay. I enjoy spending time with friends’ children and more extensively with my cousin’s girls who are currently 8 and 4 years old. While unemployed, I’m taking a heavy course load so can’t commit to too many hours, however the online classes make my schedule very flexible to work pretty much whenever needed.
