Hi – My name is Andrea, and I’m currently a senior at NJCU with a major in English Secondary Education and Media Arts. I’ve been working with kids since I was 15 and love it. I started by watching my younger brother and then began babysitting my cousins. I have always been surrounded by children, being one of the oldest in my family with 20+ children of all ages currently ranging from 2 to 17. Over the last few years, I’ve worked primarily with elementary and middle school children, but I love kids of all ages. Moreover, I have a drivers license and a car and have experience transporting children from school and back home. If it’s nice out, I like to take the kids outside, but if not, I would love to do crafts, music, read to or with the kids, or help with homework. Furthermore, I am comfortable with pets, and I have experience with animals such as dogs, cats, birds, and turtles.

Other than babysitting family, I am also teach music at a non-profit organization and work at a middle school. Currently, I work as a lead intern in a teacher intern program at a middle school where I become the co-teacher in a classroom before I become a certified teacher. I help by tutoring elementary math and elementary and middle school English. Through having a sublicence and co-teaching, I have gained teaching experience with 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, and 11th graders.

In my free time, I love photography, writing, reading, practicing music, and practicing my other native languages (Spanish and Portuguese). If you are looking for a creative, patient, organized, fun nanny or babysitter with lots of energy, look no further.
