I am a full-time college student at Northern Kentucky University. I am in school to become an elementary and special education teacher. I have one semester left of college before I officially graduate with a degree in elementary education (kindergarten through fifth grade) and special education (kindergarten through twelfth grade). I have been working with children since I was a junior in high school. I have mainly worked with children from five to twelve years old but I have had a lot of experience with infants and older children as well. I was the site director for an after school program for three years. I loved that job but unfortunately I had to quit because of school. I am now off school for the summer. I also have a six-year-old daughter who would accompany me during babysitting. She is very mature for her age and loves to play with children of all ages.

As mentioned earlier, I am in school for elementary and special education. I have been in college for 4 years working toward this degree. I have had a lot of experience with a variety of different age levels. I worked in a daycare while I attended high school and I have worked in after school programs and summer camps since 2005. I have also been through CPR and first aid training several times for these jobs as well as a variety of other trainings.

Special Needs:

I am in school studying to be a special education teacher so I have had experience with children who have special needs. I have worked with/learned extensively about children with learning disabilities, ADD and ADHD, mental retardation, blindness, autism, speech/language impairment, emotional disturbance, developmental delay, etc.
