Hi! My name is Sophia and I am a recent graduate from NYUs MFA program. As the oldest child in my family, Ive grown up knowing how to care for children basically my whole life. Throughout high school and my breaks during undergrad, Id work paid babysitting gigs for extended family members or friends of my parents. Outside of specifically babysitting, I have extensive experience working with kids in an academic setting. Just this past year, I worked with a public school in the Bronx, where I taught poetry to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. I find working with children to be endlessly rewarding – their uninhibited imagination reminds me what it means to be human. Id love to get creative and playful with your kids.
