Hi,
My name is Silvana and I am from Colombia. I moved to the US 13 years ago right after high school and I been working as a nanny for 6 years.
My first experience was when my neighbor asked me to watch her 3-month yeard old daughter for couple of hours, and a few months after I used to watch her every day. I started to love watching children as it was natural for me to love them since an early stage.
One of the things I find important is to understand what are the parents expecting from me and walk me through the baby routine. I make sure to follow them strictly, and I also keep constant communication with the parents and send small recaps as well as pictures during the day. I want them to feel comfortable an not worried while they are at work
I come from a healthy family environment and I treat my babies as if we are family as well. I am loving, caring and trustworthy. So it’s important for me to find families who also treat me as part of their family.
