Hi! Im Ruby, a 30 year old New Yorker originally from CA with a lifelong love for caring for kids.

As the oldest in a very big family (I have 30 first cousins on my dads side!), I grew up babysitting regularly and became the go-to for everything from school pickups to bedtime routines. I’ve worked with children of all ages, including babies. Growing up the oldest, I know how to connect with all kids. In college, I continued babysitting as a side job for families in my area and recently lived in LA where I worked closely with a family of three in Los Angeles (for 2 years).

In the past I’ve been certified in Red Cross training and recently volunteered with the Red Cross during the LA wildfires. If you’d like me to be re-certified in CPR/etc we can have a discussion about that, happily.

Now based back in NYC and working full-time near Bryant Park (9am6pm with end time slightly adjustable), Im looking to reconnect with childcaresomething thats always brought me joy. I’m engaged and planning to start my own family in the next few years, so spending more time with children is especially meaningful to me right now.

Im available mornings, evenings, and weekends and ideally looking to work with kids ages 3 and up. However, I am open to babies and have a lot of experience with babies of all ages. Whether its playtime, structure, or support with daily routines, I bring warmth, patience, and experience. Id love to be a trusted part of your familys circle.
