Monitoring and supervising the safety of the children in my care is always a priority. I have done so by engaging the children in educational and fun activities; instill a routine whether its hygiene, or bedtime; last, but not least,
I keep up with their daily activities. I always interact with the children in my care because I want them to feel comfortable and safe when they are with me. The manner in which I interact with each kid is dependent on his/her social skills; each has different needs so I tend to address those needs through my interactions. I always find it important to not only communicate with the parents, but with the children because that is how they develop mutual respect for me. To show the children that I care, I always ask about their days, favorite food, read to them, or I simply interact with them during play time.

Rate: $15/hour – $25/hour
