Write a messageHi my name is Rosdely Ciprian! I was an “on and off” performer for the Broadway play and now Amazon Prime Original “What The Constitution Means To Me”. I originated my role and I was in all off-broadway and Broadway productions beginning in 2017. This includes the original Broadway run opening in March 2019, the national tour from 2019-2020, and the filmed version on Amazon Prime. During this time I vastly improved my public speaking and collaborative skills. I have also had an affinity for government and politics. I also worked as a summer camp counselor for SYEP, working with children helped me gain different perspectives and to use compromise as a vital skill. I was formally a debater with the Urban debate league, and I volunteered as a judge and a summer camp counselors with the same program. In this job, I had to research the debate topics my students had to prepare for which included discussions on foreign policy, environmental concerns, and even safety in schools. I was also a summer camp counselor with the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), during this time I was in charge of classrooms from ages 4-13. The center I was in, was quite underfunded and so I had more responsibilities. Which included picking up the lunches for the campers and distributing them evenly among 30 children. I also chaperoned a few trips we went on, supervising a group of 15 toddlers in 2021. In 2019 I was listed in Teen Vogue’s 21 Under 21. I have also been interviewed by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, during my 2- week performance at the Kennedy Center.
