I am a responsible, fun-loving, and caring person who is passionate about cultivating a calming yet playful environment.

I began working with kids in high school at an after-school program, assisting with sports, arts and crafts, dance, and more. Here, I worked with both children and adults with special needs. I then worked as a summer camp counselor for children with special needs where I co-led a group of children aged 7-11. I worked primarily with children on the Autism spectrum and with down syndrome, including nonverbal children.

I have also been an elementary and pre-school volunteer. Here, I provided classroom assistance and one-on-one support for children.

I have strong communication skills and am highly adaptable- I want both the children and parents to feel comfortable, and I can be flexible to each family’s unique needs.

I work full-time, so I’m looking for routine and/or occasional weeknight and weekend jobs. I would love to build a strong sense of mutual trust between myself, the parents, and the children.

In my spare time, I like to read, go to museums, and explore neighborhoods all around the city!

Rate: $17/hour – $25/hour
